Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 27, 2026
WizeScale (“WizeScale,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides read-only diagnostics for Meta Ads accounts: a health Score, signals, and recommendations. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using WizeScale, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you create a WizeScale account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication details (either a password or your Google account identifier, if you sign in with Google).
Meta Ads data. When you connect a Meta Ads account, we access it strictly read-only through Meta's official API: campaigns, ad sets, ads, and their performance metrics (spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, and similar insights). We never request the ability to create, edit, pause, or delete anything in your Meta account, and the Meta API scopes we use don't grant it either.
Usage data. We collect information about how you interact with the dashboard, such as pages viewed and features used, to keep the product working and to improve it.
Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by our payment provider, Polar. WizeScale does not store your full card number or other sensitive payment details; Polar handles that in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.
2. How We Use Your Information
To compute and display your Score, signals, and recommendations from your connected Meta Ads data.
To operate, maintain, secure, and improve WizeScale.
To communicate with you about service updates, security notices, and, if you've opted in, product updates.
To process subscription payments and manage your account.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Your Meta Ads Data, Specifically
Access to your Meta Ads account is read-only, granted through Meta's own OAuth consent screen, and scoped only to what WizeScale's diagnostics need. We never modify, pause, edit, or delete any campaign, ad set, or ad in your Meta account. Our integration has no write access to request in the first place.
Your Meta Ads data is used solely to compute your account's Score, signals, and recommendations, and to answer your questions inside the product. We do not use your advertising data to train third-party models, and we do not sell it.
You can revoke WizeScale's access at any time, either from your WizeScale account settings or directly from your Meta Business settings. Revoking access stops all further data collection; previously computed diagnostics remain available until you delete your account.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information or your Meta Ads data.
We share information with service providers who help us run WizeScale, under confidentiality obligations and only to the extent needed to provide their service: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Polar (subscription billing), and our hosting/infrastructure providers.
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
If WizeScale is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy (or a policy at least as protective).
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information and connected Meta Ads data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see “Your Rights and Choices” below).
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and row-level security on our database. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing (rights broadly available under regulations such as the GDPR and CCPA, and honored for all WizeScale users regardless of location).
You can exercise most of these rights directly from your account settings, including disconnecting your Meta Ads account and downloading a copy of your data. For anything else, contact us using the details in “Contact Us” below.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences (such as language and theme). We do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may prevent WizeScale from working correctly.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for these transfers.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through the dashboard before the changes take effect. Your continued use of WizeScale after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
